Does anyone out there have a spare oil pickup tube for a rear sump '65-'66 Skylark GS 401? I have an extra oil pan I want to use on the engine I am building for my car so I don't have to pull the pan off my original engine, but I need a pickup tube or I will still have to pull the original one apart. I have two Riveria Style pickup tubes and oil pans I will be glad to trade for a Skylark GS pickup tube!

    Brian,

Call Carmen, (see stickies) he makes them.

Where are you in Rocky Mount? My in-laws live there!

Thanks for the info. I live right off of rt 48 (Goldrock road) in the High Meadows subdivision--about 1.5 miles from the mall/Wal-mart. Been here about 10 years now. I am currently working on a frame off restoration on a '65 GS ht 4-speed. Give me a call and stop by if you are ever in town.

    Brian,

My wifes folks live on Chelsea Dr. They've been there since the 70s. They moved there from north Jersey. I'm not sure where you're located from your description, but my wife will know!

I'm also doing a frame off on my GS.

I think I'll be in town sometime during the week of Thanksgiving (her family rents a house usually at Atlantic Beach that week) but we plan to be at hers folks for a couple days.

I know exactly where that is. It is in the neighborhood right behind my church. It is about 6 miles from my house. That area is the south side of town and I am on the North side right at the city limits. Let me know when you finalize your plans and you can come by and check out the Buicks while you are in town. I also have in my garage the 3 you see in the picture that shows on my posts.
