Can a six pack be put on a 425 thats in a66 Riviera and if it would work what carbs would work best for this app?

Why not go for the Buick 8 pack (Dual Quads), a dealer installed option back in 1966 ?

But if you have a six pack manifold that fits the engine, you could go for 3 x 2 barrel Carters (if they fit on the manifold....)

Its my dads car and thats what he wants to put on it. I agree with you on just going with dual fours, but in the end its his car. I found the Vintagespeed website and I gave the guy a call and he says he can make a six pack manifold for the 425 and that it would run us somewhere between $200-$300. I know my dad wants to but Holly carbs on it if he does go with the six but right now thats not in our cash abilities with me starting college soon. I've tried to figure out a good estimated cost for the six pack intake and the carbs but I dont know what carbs would run best on it. If you have any ideas on what my be best for it let me know.

    6 pack manifold

Offenhouser still makes a 3x2 manifold for the nailhead. I would use Rochester 2gc carbs which are still readily available. These same carbs came on the GTO, of the sixties. Food for thought. Jeff.
