Signs of Starter Need of R & R?

11.8 volts after being on the charger overnight.

 

At this point crank your charger to boost and let her rip. The bad part will let you know.

 

Yeah? I was thinking about trying Autozone as it's five year 3 replacement under warranty, but they can be tough. It's a year old.

 

Fully-charged is 12.6--12.7, AFTER the charger has been disconnected for an hour or two.

Either the charger is defective, or the battery is, or you have a really terrible connection between the charger's clamps and the battery post.

 

The best thing about Autozone now is....If you look like you know what you're talking about they just replace it under warranty instead if even testing it.

Damn it better start.
