I have the option to recieve a 78 sunbird for free. I also have a 78 buick 350 I could bolt into it. The Sunbird is red with white interior. I think it would be a car I could play with and is really cheap. What do you think? any oppinions? I found a picture of a car similar to it on the internet so I will post to give you an idea.

    The price is certainly right.
And if you already have an engine laying around, that could be a real cheap and fun playtoy. I say go for it!

But to be honest.... I really prefer the hatchback models. I think they lose alot of the "cool factor" when they're not hatchbacks.

I thought it would be a cheap and easy project.

If you have everything, give it a shot! I had a 305 Monza and it was FUN, (except for changing plugs!)
Then you could toss your Skylark My way! He-He

JR.... You will have to fight with my wife over the 72 Skylark. As for the 78 it has been a great $150 daily driver for the last 2 years. Do you think a 350 buick will fit in the sunbird fine?

Also clean out your private massages.....
