Should I accept this ?

Picked up my newly machined block today and upon close inspection of the cam bearing I see that the No. 1 bearing does not have the oil hole central to the one in block. There is less than 1/2 of the surface area between the two. I told them when I dropped it off about correct installing of the cam bearings. Will this be OK or will I have to take the block back to have it corrected ?

No, that will not do, the shop needs to correct that!
I would also provide them with your Cam and Cam gear ,so they can confirm that it not only goes in like it should , but spins like it should

    Jim,

NailHeads are NOT like 455's. TA does not sell any special cam bearings, as far as I'm aware, as they are NOT needed on a "Nail".

Looks like some honing already done after install?

Hate to see that - I'd be very concerned with everything else they did after seeing such an elementary error.

Fairly sure that hole feeds both lifter galleries via the groove in the front cam journal. Restrict it, and you restrict oil to your lifters too.

x2 on test fitting the cam. The bearings often need to be reamed or honed to proper size.

My point in bringing up the honing pattern is that I can see grit and dirt, so unless they've given some instructions or insight to what's going on, I'd be very suspicious.
At least tell a guy it needs final cleaning and whether or not they test fit a cam and have made corrective actions, esp. when there's already been a line of communication on the subject.

These are the other 2 holes, the bottom and the one to the left. They had to give the front bearing a slight " hone" to get the cam in. All the rest were OK. The block has not had a final clean yet, it's still covered in oil. I'm waiting until the crankshaft and heads are finished before I give a thorough clean. When I go to pick up the crankshaft I'll take the block back and have some words to say.
    Thanks all.

You pretty much can't wash behind grooved cam bearings good enough.
Watch what comes out when you prime your oil pump.
Then you get to take it apart again.
    Cross fingers.
