Shopping for an aluminum radiator

    They are used for securing a car to a trailer while towing.

    Did you confirm your vacuum advance is operational? They are WAY cheaper to replace than a radiator.

    That's my next check after I mark the flywheel for the 30 degree mark and check total advance.

    The champion radiators are low priced and do a great job. My Ae 161 was $200.

    The Champion Website says that my '70 GS455 takes the Ae 571. How is your Ae161 different?

    I see now. The AE161 is the one I would need as well. But my tranny cooling lines on the stock radiator are spaced wider apart than shown on the AE161. So, I'd have to bend the top line which currently enters up near the filler cap. Or, is that the reason there are three connection points on the AE161? You use the one that matches what you have now and block the unused one off??

    You do need to shorten and bend the line. The extra connection is for a temp sensor for electric fans.
