I'd love to have some Buick themed T-shirts! The problem I have with what is out there is they are all so cartoonish and over the top.
Eric, thanks for the support. I wouldn't mind doing GS, or Tri-shield stuff later on. One of my Rivs is a GS. I gotta look into copyright issues some more. I don't want GM on my back. I may even be pushing it with the Riviera and Wildcat stuff too.
Dale, that's exactly what I was shooting for. Something out of the ordinary. After all, they're Buicks, and as Buick owners, we're not ordinary.
65 Wildcat Shirt Sign me up for a WILDCAT shirt :TU: , Maybe even a 65 Wildcat would be real cool! I have been looking for one and I can be pretty sure that I will never find one! Also Would the t Shirts have a Pocket? That would be real nice! Don
Whats up I was just wondering what is up with this Idea? Where does it stand as of now? I really hope that we can do this! I like the idea of a nice looking shirt that is not a cartoon , But a nice clear statement to all about our under rated cars and hobby! Like I said sign me up for a Wildcat shirt and Hat! (65 WILDCAT I HOPE) smirk
Like all the other threads about t-shirts on this board: A lot of blabla, and in the end nothing will happen..... :spank:
I'm never in a bad mood Frank, Use the SEARCH button and look at all the t-shirts ideas brought up in the past years, still waiting for them to be actually produced....... :Smarty: But I'm still very happy with the HOUSTON BUICK CLUB shirt I bought from Rick (Buickbonehead :TU: )
I guess I should clarify a few things. I have not been on the board much lately. A lot of things going on with me right now, and car stuff has had to wait. First off, the Wildcat part is about the sideways facing emblem that is per '64. The car that I own. It's not pictures of cars. There's a guy on eBay that does those. I'm looking into having the emblems (Wildcat/Riviera) embroidered on these items. I'm having them done for me regardless. That is if there is no copyright issues, or the cost is too high. I just thought I'd try to provide something nice, and classy for the rest of you too. But the more requests the better the price should be. Secondly, EriK, this is not "blah, blah, blah). I need time for the polls to increase so an order amount could be established. I'd rather have 20-30+ instead of 4-7 shirts, or 3-4 hats. I'm less likely to get a deal that way. This is not a time sensitive issue for me. It's not much different than the way parts people deal with R+D etc. Third, thanks for your interest and support. This is a great group. D.
Okay Daryn, Thanks for that reply, I was really thinking this would turn out the same way as all the other t-shirt ideas in the past. Keep us updated, I'm still in the market for a few Riviera shirts :TU: :TU:
I would really enjoy having both a Wildcat shirt and hat. When I was working selling cars, we had to have custom polo shirts with the dealer's name and the company logo on them. I believe we had to pay about $28.00 a piece for them - but they were made with very good material and I'm still wearing them on weekends. I'm guessing that the price would be somewhere in that ballpark. By the way, I was selling Oldsmobiles and Nissans (sorry).
A 65 Wildcat I think because of the survey that was done on this Website that asked what was your favorite year Wildcat? The 1965 was and is the leading car, It would be the best one for the T-Shirt! :TU:  :beer Don
