so i bought the selector lever for a chevelle t350 for my console conversion on my 72 skylark since i couldn't find a buick one. instead of a hole for the trunion it's a long slot on the lever but it's for a t350 did chevelle have a differrent shifter cable? or is there supposed to be a clip? what would keep the trunion from sliding in the slot?
