hello all , I have a set of 68 -69 Shelby mustang five spoke aluminum wheels that im looking to sell . I have no Idea of the value or were to sell them , had them on ebay for about a month and nothing. My uncle gave them to me. they were on his car and have been sitting in garage since 80s . wheels are in ok shape , they would need a resto though im sure . figured maybe someone on here would know of something.
Kelsey Hayes 5 spokes? Look kinda like a Buick rallye but the chrome is split by a black stripe? Post some pics.
Those are really cool. They are for 69-70 models. I'm not rich enough to play with Shelbys, but if you want to, pm me more about the condition and what you want for them and I'll ask around for you. EDIT: Just be aware that like most mustang stuff, they are reproduced very well for reasonable. I've seen them for around $220 new EDIT 2: just found them on sale for $190 actually. Mustang stuff is cheap because there is so much of it, even original parts are plentiful. I've got a lot of the original parts off mine that wouldn't bother me to sell, but repro is cheap and those guys don't pay 1/2 that for decent original pieces, unless its NOS or mint restored, then they go crazy.
Learn about the date codes as originals with certain codes may well be worth more coin to some one. Good luck.
