SES light is on after resetting it the other day. The code is a "P0410", which says, "secondary air injection malfunction". I got someone at the parts store to scan it but no one seems to know what it means. It is not running any different or acting up. I thought maybe the gas cap was not tight enough when my wife filled it up last time, but it came back on the next day after resetting with the OBDII scanner. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Brian

Brian, The P0410 code refers to the A.I.R. pump system, it is electric & mounted on the frame behind the front bumper, what usually happens is that it gets water in it during the winter and freezes. Next to the battery, kinda inside the fender there is a fuse that is probley blown resulting in the pump being inoperitive, when you replace the fuse, also remove the hoses from the pump & drain any water that may be in it. If it's still under warranty take it to the dealer, there is a bulletin regarding this concern, they should also replace a couple valves in the A.I.R. system and lengthen the intake hose for the pump. Hope this helps.

I found this on a Corvette webpage:
"The PCM is looking to see if the O2 voltages drop sufficiently and STFT goes high when the AIR pump is commanded on. P0410 indicates neither bank is responding as expected which suggests a cause that would impact both banks, not just one. (There are other codes for a single bank responding improperly.) I would look at the AIR pump, it's fuses, and restriction or blockage upstream of the branching to banks. Toasted check valves can knock out an AIR pump."
