Last Summer I purchased my second 2005 Dodge Magnum RT. I have no idea how it happened, but when I picked it up, both splines on the radio knobs were stripped. NBD I thought. I'll go to my local friendly Mopar dealer and buy a couple of new ones for $10 apiece (they are probably worth $3). It turns out that you get two knobs for free with every new radio which is about $1,000. I looked online, and Dorman makes a replacement knob which doesn't look anything like the originals. I doubt that a salvage yard would break up a radio for them. Any ideas where I could scarf a couple?
Do any of these look like they might work? http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...obs.TRS0&_nkw=2005+dodge+radio+knobs&_sacat=0
A guy on Ebay is selling these. Not sure if they're a match http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHRYSLER-DODGE-JEEP-CHROME-TRIM-Radio-Stereo-Knob-OEM-/172170344907?hash=item281626f9cb:g:f8AAAOSw1DtXEw~u&vxp=mtr
Unless the Dorman knobs looked like crap, I'd just go with those. Don't tell me you're concerned about being "correct"?
