mrstreefrog....I won a bid on a pair of arm rest from this person, they have alot of 66 Skylark stuff on auction right now, there is a thread on here for a 66 body and frame from this seller, anyway, I emailed this seller about the condition of these arm rest and he repleyed that they were "excellent" total BS!!...chrome bezels had been spray painted, large cracks in both and hole in one of the pads...I emailed him about this and have heard nothing back, ol, these arm pads are like 4 inchs shorter than the ones on my 66 2 door hardtop, everything about this hole sell is a mess...NOW, if this person makes it good, I will post that they have but as of now, nothing. Just wanted to give y'all a heads up on this seller. :TU:
People are morons..... spray paint, cracks, and holes somehow translate into "excellent condition" to them.
Seller emailed me back Monday....said they were sorry I wasn't happy with the parts and that they would give me a full refund once I returned the parts, sent them out yesterday so we'll see, still don't understand they're description being WAY off on the parts but if they make it right then thats cool with me......I'm trying to keep y'all informed on this because like I said, they have a 66 they are parting out and I'm sure there are other members of this board bidding on them......I will post when I recieve my refund. Don't want to give the seller 2 black eyes if they make it right, just 1 for not knowing good parts from junk! ou:

Be wary of 'mrstreefrog'.....they have many items up for auction that are claimed to be from a '66 Skylark GS.....All the parts I have seen are from a standard 'lark.....even the 'GS' frame they sold has a 44417 vin.....Not a GS!! They presently have a 'GS' wiring harness up for auction....someone is going to get burned.....
Thats why I put this thread up here, they have no idea what series that car is or what is a good part or a junk part ( that should be easy you would think) .... they seem so far that they want to be far about refunding money but I would have rather not been in this deal to begin with, I need a nice set of arm rest for my car.....is not a GS but its no standard either, the arm rest they sent me are nothing like my and the photo they had on the auction was so small I could really tell that they were much shorter then mine are. Try to watch out for the guys on here, they've all been so good to me and I will return the favor every chance I get. :TU:
