...and I'll bet you might be able to guess where...no place other than Barret Jackson on speed channel. At the time it was only the second car to break 100k. I never thought i'd ever see a plane jane chevy like that sell for so much, only thing it had special on it was a continental kit and 2 4 barell carbs. I think it might've been a re-run(?) Anyone else see this?

I saw some of that show. Remember that guy who bought 4 corvettes for a total of $685000! He bought a nice 88 corvette calloway I think its what its called, he bought 4 calloways. The 88 corvette has 880 brake Horsepower nice! and it goes to 254mph. Maybe instead of buying those chebbis he should of donated some $$$ to SE Asia. What I thought was funny, was that they had this 1936 1 of 3 made Cadillac V16 that only sold for I believe for 100-300k very beautiful car.

    More money...

The '67 vette toping 125K was interesting too...I searched Jacksons last sale on '65 Riv G.S. $8,400... Personally I'm glad the world is looking the other way as far as Buicks are concerned...I wouldn't want to pay $2,000 for a fender and what they don't know won't hurt them.

Isn't that a rerun from last year? I believe the new auction is at the end of January.

It was a rerun. The 2005 auction starts January 26th and runs for 5 days this year. (Last year was 4.)

Also, why is it that there are never any Buicks on B-J? It seemed like there were 5x more Oldsmobiles that were auctioned than Buicks last year.

I thought it was a re-run. I seen an AAR cuda sell for big bucks too, but forgot what it was, I think around 80k maybe? It was quite a bit of dough anyway, and a viewer emailed them and told them the exhaust was wrong for the AAR cuda, as an original AAR cuda would have the tips exit before the rear tires and out the side on both sides, instead of in back of the tires. When the owner finds out I bet he might be disappointed, after all, it was said to be an all "original" cuda.

I saw a 67' vette break 80' and a 55' break 80K, 56', and a 57' T-bird break 100K. I can't imagine spending that much money on a car you wouldn't want to drive. In my mind i have much better places to put 100K.
