Went to set the secondaries and heard a “tink” sound. I think the spring spun around or something because I wasn’t able to set it. Turning the screw wouldn’t tighten it up. How can I fix this?

Look to see if the tang broke. It may have just unhooked. Post a picture of it.

If it did come unhooked, good chance that spring is going to be stretched.
Would be best to pull air horn and put a new one in.

Get a new plastic cam as well.
The cam can wear down and gets brittle with age and heat. The old spring can loose tension, so rather than rehook it, replace it too.
Now you'll know the 1/2 turn tension is accurate and the metering rods are metering the right amount of fuel vs the hanger height and cam height.

When you loosen the allen key set screw without holding the shaft with a screwdriver, the spring unwinds. Just turn the shaft from the end and when you reach the setting you want, tighten the set screw.

Yeah Larry, I let the screw go ‍♂️. I going to assess the situation in a bit. I’ll try to take a good pic and post.

Oh, another thing. Where can I get the parts from? Recommendations?

Ok, so, I ended up taking the carb out. Took out the tension adjustment and spring and put them back in till it lined up. The spring looked fine. Took a few chances but finally got it in and adjusted. Put back on the engine and started her up. By the time it was done it was late and didn’t run it too long. Was going to drive it today, but it’s been raining. Didn’t want to drive it then have to make adjustments if I needed too. I’ll do it tomorrow.

It's junk, replace it. My rebuild kits come with a new one for good reason, in almost all cases the spring is weak and the secondary cam is cracked, worn down, or shrunk and no longer fits tight on the shaft These issues cause problems when you go to full throttle.....
