I am restoring/updating my 71 Stage 1 GS. This car will be my driver, but the quality I’m hoping will be much better. I am taking certain liberties with the build. I live in the desert, therefore vinyl seats just don’t make sense to me. I had the upholstery shop do a cuatom pattern between a 70 and 71 seats. The color is light gray. I am pleased with how they came out. What do you think? I’m not sure why they are sideways.
I definitely understand the NEED for a cloth seating area instead of vinyl, especially in the desert (Not to bad in the cold of winter either!) Ever notice how much better it feels when you step onto carpet after a hard floor? Tile (BRR), wood, vinyl, etc. What color is the exterior? That would have a lot to do with the interior color choice to me
I was considering silver or white when I chose the material. The car is going to be white. The dash and carpet will match the backs of the seats. I will put a white headliner in.
