At one time, there was a 1/24th scale model of a 64 2 door wildcat, not a 4 door . It was a kit by AMT.
    Good luck

    Good link Jim.

Thats gonna be your only way to obtain a 64 Wildcat in small scall. Converting it to a four door hardtop can be done by a modeler of some skill. Good luck!!

hmm we gonna try this item on e-bay, but when the price is rising to much we bail out.
We prefer to spend the money then to our resto plans for the real scale buick :beer

But thanx for the link, we gonna try!

Unfortunately the Buicks were left out of a majority of model car plans. I am a long time modeler and have been a member of The Modelcar List for several years. There is a HUGE number of suppliers for aftermarket and conversion parts out there now and you may be able to find a way to make that kit a four door through one of them.

    1964 Wildcat kit

Hi dutch-64wildcat. Here's another kit on eBay. It's even more expensive, but I don't think they've ever been reissued so the original 1964 issue is probably your only choice.

BTW, gui-tarzan, what is the Modelcar List and is it online? I have a collection of about 330 unbuilt car kits (and another 65 or so ship, aircraft, armor, etc. kits), including some from the sixties and seventies, that I will be selling in order to build up enough money to buy a house. I wonder if anyone who belongs to the list might be interested in buying a whole collection. It sure would be easier than putting them all on eBay. I'm working on the list and expect to have it ready around the first of the year. Thanks.

The ModelcarList is an awesome group of people that I've been involved with since around 1997. Our website is www.themodelcarlist.com and you can join the list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/modelcarlist. We do allow members to sell kits or collections and we've had some of the top modeler names from around the world as members over the years. Some are still active members but I don't know who's around that buys that many kits anymore. I'd suggest ebay but you never know how that'll go. I have seen large collections sell there though.

By the way, the '65/6 Wildcat has been reissued in the recent past and I have several of those.

    Jim,

I haven't been modeling in years, I mostly do die cast customs now. Anyway, the "Hobby Lobby" could use some new posts. Sooo, could you round up some Buick models assembled by some good modelers? Maybe start a new thread? :TU:
