this isn't a buick engine but a big block chevy that i figured i could get a good answer here. i need a suggestion on where to get something that would seal the oil dipstick tube to the oil pan. my 555 has a vacuum pump and it has to have a good seal in the crankcase. i was thinking of a type of rubber hose that was nice and flexable that i could slide over the tube and once in the pan i could just pull it over the tube that sticks out of the pan. a peice of 5/16" fuel line would be perfect but it isn't flexable enough. any suggestions would be great. thanks, paul c.
