Beware of him. Do NOT send him any money, and I recommend nobody sell to him either. He took me, along with at least 4 other V8buick members money recently (January 2012), and failed to deliver the parts. He has an ongoing history on here for poor performance. He has NOT returned any calls, emails, or PM's for over a month. Other members have contacted his family and law enforcement to no avail. Man that sucks!! You must really have some rotten luck, as much as i have bought here ive had more instances of sellers going above and beyond what they need to than anything. I hate i when a few bad apples cast a shadow over generally good things!!:banghead:
Shawn- ya, even being here as long as I have. Don't get me wrong- I've probably done well over 500 transactions here and so far, have only had about 15-20 people flake out. The best ones were the members that I had asked to pay for shipping ONLY on an item that never sent a dime... And some of those parts were $20-$30 to ship! Now, a part doesn't leave until it's paid for (upfront) and I try to only deal with people I know...

Two months and still no parts; Ive sent an Email to the Oconto Sherriff's office, and filed with the IFC(?) mentioned on another thread about Scott. Yeah, bumms me out a little. I've sent parts before getting the money from some people, and some have paid a little more than I've asked (usually a buck or two). First Time I've been ripped off here.

UPDATE Called Tom at the Sheriff's Office and he is well aware of Scott and the issues with him. He stated that he visited Scott several times and Scott stated 'he would take care of everyone'. Tom (investigator) asks that we CALL OR EMAIL Scott- as he has 'promised to answer emails or call back'. SO....I called Scott after I got off the phone w/ Tom... and.... HE ANSWERED!!!! From his mouth: 1. In December/ January, I lost my Mom, then my Uncle. 2. I lost access to V8 Buick. 3. People sent payment- but didn't leave there mailing addresses or what they bought. 4. Well his mom passed on November 6th,2011.While I am sorry for his loss,that happened way before most of us paid for our parts.He had my address because it was on the paypal receipt.Also I emailed him all my info and pm'ed him before he mysteriously lost his ability to log on to the site(He managed to post two cars for sale on Craigslist though).I also provided him with both my phone numbers.I never gave him my address again after I contacted the authorities but I got my stuff the next week.Where did he get my info?
