Whoever owns that Bad @$$ 72 skylark with the 350, and the DN 5-speed, please step forward and kindly hand me the keys to your car. I do apologize for the sudden loss of rubber on your rear tires. Have you slammed gears in your awesome 72 skylark lately? :TU: Thanks, Kevin
Sorry, No. It's been in storage for the last couple of months. The idea is tempting, however. Well, with ME driving, that is. Thanks for the kind words!
Thanks, Ivan! The car needs some bodywork and paint. I'd like to have the bumpers rechromed also. Funds are not available for that right now. I got to the point where I don't really want to drive it until it looks better. I don't like going to car shows, because my car looks a bit "ratty" as compared to the "show" cars. Everything else is finished and complete, though. Interior is near mint, Drivetrain and Suspension are all new, etc. Bought the car in 1985. My Dad, my Brother, and I painted it - in 1986. Time for a repaint! The car was built in Mass, and has "lived" in Mass, Arizona, and now Florida. It has been stored on and off for years. There have been times that I have thought about selling it, at a loss of course, but keeping it in storage gives me a breather - to take care of lifes other, more pressing issues. In a year or three, when money is easier to come by, I'll spend a few thousand on it. By that time, I'll have owned it for 20 years! Yeah, we're all getting old, aren't we?? For now I have to get a more advanced degree in college. At 35 years old, I'd say that it's about time Rock on, Buick nuts!! Andrew
