Ok guys I know its or a good cause but really. I was driving in Mass on route 495 yesterday afternoon in my Hellcat and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Not sure who was driving but I hope it was a woman. I would be embarrassed to drive that ugly Mobile. I think the pink thing is gone too far now. NFL players with pink shoes etc. I’m not being insensitive to any cancer cause having two family members die from cancer in the past few years. The money and spotlight should be on all cancer not just one type. Everyone needs help. In the meantime I say enough with the pink stuff unless for a baby girl or boy if you are one of those parents. Or women’s undergarments. I like them. :D

One thing I've never understood is how it "helps" like the NFL how does spending money to make the pink stuff,. Shoes,,banners,,etc etc how does that "help" why wouldn't you just use the xxx amount of money that would go into all that marketing and just donate that? I understand how paying $10 for a 10ct bracelet works to help the cause but some of the tactics just dont make sense to me,..its like it's just more of a "hey look at us,.we care" kinda thing

Very good points. Just like things like wounded warrior sending us free stuff and paying big wigs huge salaries while they throw big parties. Keep all the “stuff” and spend the money where it should go.

Believe it or not Mary Kay has the largest number of fleet vehicles of any company. At least according to Jeopardy a few years ago. I’m guessing they are not all pink anymore? I would have guessed UPS.

Here is an interesting article on "Pinkwashing" - I personally like to see public services like police departments things like this for important causes, it's not like the wrapped their entire fleet. One vehicle or a vinyl decal on the fleet spreads alot of goodwill and awareness. Many of these "causes" were behind closed door discussions and an embarrassment to many, bringing things like this to the open make people talk about the issues.

The latest Mary Kay offerings are of course still pink Cadillacs but there are other fleet vehicles that can be had in charcoal with pink Mary Kay logo and the new Mini in black metallic with pink stripes and mirrors

It's called slacktivism. All these idiots who want to turn Facebook pink for the day, or changed their profile pictures to with a frame to support some cause. They pat themselves on the back while doing nothing to help anything or anyone. Want to make a difference? Donate!

All this pink stuff for breast cancer has been somewhat harmful to the rest of the cancer community. 4-5 years ago it suddenly became a huge event and in fashion to go all out for breast cancer. So much so that almost all donated money was for breast cancer. The problem is out of all the cancers it is one of the very few that can be detected at home, very early and the survival rate is well over 90%.

There are cancers that show no symptoms until it is too late- pancreatic cancer, liver cancer etc... this is where the money needs to go..

My exact thoughts. Like you said they are all good causes but I agree with you on the lopsided attention. I've seen some absolutely stupid things related to breast cancer awareness. Women walking with body paint on their nipples and signs that say save the titties. And even more ridicuous bumper stickers. It's all a game to some people and an excuse to act out their inner desires. It's cancer! It's serious. It's not an opportunity for you to act like an idiot. What if all the men walked around with their balls hanging out with signs saying save the nuts? I have friends touched by breast cancer. So I get that it matters. But cancer matters. Would all these people be having so much "fun" celebrating liver cancer awareness? Probably not, because they can't accentuate the breasts and party like they can using it as an excuse to focus on breasts instead of cancer. It's time to swing the pendulum back a little and pay attention to all cancers. Even though it's not as in vogue as breast cancer.

Why does it always gotta be about women any way. We need Ball cancer awarness month. Now we need more months . A bunch of pinko commies is what they really are. Heres an idear. Why not teach health in school. If you see the pinko commie mobile with its cherries lit behind you ,,,,
that would suck.... you screwed up. You could take it to court and say you wont pay it unless all the money goes to cancer research.

Give it a try. Get back to us. If it works we could all do it. Have a parade. Everyone could say look at all those crazy nuts. :D
