The title says it all, found one at Harlans auto sales in quincy illinois about 2 weeks ago. Stopped and looked at it when I was the dealership was closed but it was still accessible to get in and take a look. 1986 Buick Regal T-Type, and what appears to be 68,000 original miles on the odometer, it's a light silver-metallic exterior and to my surprise, could not find anymore but one small scratch on the bottom of the passenger quarter panel, and the interior is tear free and looks like it has never seen a cigarett, and the color of the interior is a sweet looking blue color. Looks very stock, and one of the best examples of a close to show room condition street car that I had ever seen in person, and the asking price seems rather low for a car of this respect. They want 6,500 dollars for it. Yes, I did say 6,500 dollars for it. No pics of it, and besides no pics, pictures just wouldn't do this car justice, it has to be seen in person to be admired. If I had 6,500 dollars right now, I would go there, hand it to them, get the keys, & drive off with no questions asked. :bglasses:
Oh, I forgot to add, if anyone is interested in this car, feel free to pm me, im pretty sure I forgot a few details to list in the previous post^. TTT
That's what I thought too, if I had the money it took to buy it that car would've been sitting in my driveway the day I seen it. :bglasses: Quincy illinois is 40 miles south of where I live so it is quite a trip, but im going to have to find out what the phone number is, I have some relatives up there so I can call them sometime and ask them to look it up for me. :TU: A really nice car imho for the money.
A white '87 T-Type a mile away from me is $12,995. I called and asked if it was a typo, it wasn't. A nice car but I don't know about $12,995 nice. 80,000 miles. Another plain jane '86 Regal by me is only $2600, grandma car, v6. I'd buy it if I couldn't find a Riv.
Wow an 86 non turbo regal for $2600 is a lot I think. Even if the car is perfect and has less then 100K I would only pay $1k for it
Well, from the looks of the one that I saw for 6,500 bucks could probably go for a lot more, maybe the dealership doesn't quite know what they have :Brow:
Got the phone number for the '86 T-type that I have listed in the first post, if anyone wants it, PM me! Im unsure of the hours, didn't go up to the door to see what their open hours were, but I got the phone number at least. :TU:
Where is Harlans at? I was born and raised in Quincy and am back there far too often. I don't remember any Harlans. Of course there is almost as many used car lots as there are bars in Quincy and we used to have the most bars per capita in the country.
I will call one of my few relatives tommorow, they know what street it is on. I did remember what street it was on for awhile and then I forgot, but I will let you know as soon as I find out. :TU:
LOL^^ Well, I had someone pm me for the phone number and they pm'd me back and said it was sold. For that amount of money, I wish I would have had it. I hope whoever the new owner is takes good care of it. The street harlans is on is around 8th and vermont if im not mistaken.
