The wagon wasn't pulling wheel stands.... at least not like the pics I've seen from the past. Either Mike has made some clutch adjustments, or he just wasn't hooking up very good. It would only lift the tires a couple inches if that. It's still an awesome sight to behold though. :TU: John's Opel (the red one) IS awesome. That thing mystifies me every time I see it run. It sounds like a monster chainsaw on steroids and launches like a slingshot! I think it was running 8.2x's this weekend. It was carrying the front tire in the air PAST where we were sitting in the stands, :TU:

i believe that doug's car does have wheeliebars... in fact looking back there are wheelie bars on it in the first page picture of the car "focusing" on the days events
That was one of the coolest things I have EVER seen!!:TU: I put John Csordas Jr. (my adopted little brother) in the car to see how fast it would go with 200 lbs less weight in the car. I knew it would lift the wheels a little higher than when I'm in the car, but THAT WAS UN-FREAKIN' REAL!!:shock: If I'd have known it would go high enough to freak the kid out, I'd have set the bars lower! It was only his second time in the car and it's so different from the way his car launches, that he freaked a little. I can't blame him for lifting, but you know darn well if I was driving and it went that high, I'd ride it out. I think it's fun! :TU: Of course, I've also got about 500 passes in the car, so it doesn't faze me at all when it whips up like that. Anyway, I think John did just fine and I'll be happy to let him take another shot (with the bars down, of course) next time we go out together. There was no damage to the car other than a cracked header collector and the important thing was that my boy didn't get hurt. That way we get to play another day! :TU: BTW...Did I mention that was one of the coolest things I've EVER seen?? :laugh:

Mike from TA has definitely done some tweaking to the car.......no wheelies this time, but it ran an 8.99 which is better than this car has ever ran in the past....VERY COOL!:TU: :3gears:
