"Where's the buicks??" you'll all say but there really wasn't any except for the g-body regals. It was pretty much early 80's and up, what's in the pics are most of the older cars they had. There was one mid 60's buick sitting right up front and it was in really good condition, probably a runner, almost zero rust and was parked in a row of cars. Didn't get a pic because I didn't know if camera's were allowed and since it was really close to the office where a huge biker guy was watching, I didn't risk it. White interior, looked really good actually. Must not have been sitting there very long. On the hood was "hands off" written in the dust over each opening. The coolant tank was just so damn white for being on a 25+ year old car. Too bad it was smashed in on the corner otherwise it would have been mine. It's kind of sad. What you see in the pic is what was left of it. Wish I had this when it was brand new. Was a 4 door. Never heard of a "gold duster" before so I took a couple of pics. There was a guy in a mattress suit waving to people. An easy job, all you have to do is watch out for the high schoolers with baseball bats. All in all, I got an aluminum hood (some rare option), some very nice sun visors, the trim for the hood I currently have and needed and a fender brace to make a pair so I would call this trip a success.
Had a friend in highschool that had a gold duster. Pretty cool car, but his was a bucket of rust that never ran right.
Yeah, I went to a junkyard alittle while ago and no Buicks! But a few older cAMAROS AND tRANS aMS THAT WERE RESTORABLE. :Brow: :Brow:
I was given a tip that there was an aluminum hood for my cutlass sitting in this yard. Lots of g-bodies in this one, definately gonna go back to it. This one was around sullivan, don't remember the name, some huge biker guy with a large beard ran it though.

The directions I took were 26 into jefferson, left on 18 for 10 or so miles. Definately some interesting folk around that place, the one guy who helped us bring the hood/parts/us back was exclaiming about how lucky he was to have gotten a 12 pack of 40's of some cheap bear and he had been drinking them all day.

Yea, I did a double take when I saw some blonde in her 30's dressed in tight leather biker gear. There were two mean looking dirt covered dogs there as well, they warmed up to me after I let them smell my hand for awhile though. THe van driver said they were moving stuff around as well so I should come back sooner than later if I wanted to get parts off a car I remembered.
