Hello to all !!! I own a 1984 Riviera that unfortunately recently lost the covering on these side emblems...the ones that are an EL panel lighting. I am having a really tough time finding any replacements and was hoping that someone here could point me in the right direction !! Please please please and thank you much in advance for any help !! I think but not sure there is a mid 80s Riviera (maybe Olds Toronado) in local yard. Will check later. Just the cover, or the whole opera light assembly
Just the cover is needed but if the whole assembly is in decent shape, I would buy it as well. Thanks for checking !
It was a 1982, and the opera light were severely degraded to the point of being cloudy, and hazed and looked like the lens was getting the 'starburst' crazing. Sorry. The other car WAS a early to mid 80's Toronado, by the way, didn't even waste time looking for the year.
Was back out there the other day ; Guess what!!! I found a 1984 Riviera (Door decal says 02/84 ). It is in fairly good shape. He wants $30 each, with ME pulling it, $45 each if they pull it. Obviously, plus shipping. The weather calls for rain next few days, then supposed to get cold, possible snow AGAIN.
