Curious to see if anyone else had run into this issue. It took me from 4 PM Saturday to 4 PM Sunday to replace a a pump on my 1998 Chevy K2500 with Hydroboost. Removal and replacement of the pump itself was a pretty tough experience. However, the final issue I dealt with was the flow control valve sticking in the pump. The first time I got the EVO fitting to quit leaking and drove down the street the power assit quickly faded to zero. :af: Found the plunger stuck. So I freed it up and tried the pump again. Power assist was back, drove down the street and it quits again. Finally, I just pulled the plunger from my old pump and stuck it in and it seems to be okay now. Anyone else had a plunger stick in one of these pumps?
