I just heard yesterday that my cousin Mark passed away of pneumonia after suffering for years with Parkinson's. He is the person that had the most Buick influence on me as well as helped me build and paint my 81 Camaro with a 454. As far back as I can remember he had the black 70 Buick GS 455 that I believe his son is going to get, and a red 70-72 GS that I believe his brother has. I also remember him taking me for a ride in his 87 GN. Another car that I believe is going to his son is an 84 Buick regal with a 455 and overdrive trans with GN hood spoilers and wheels.
Thanks guys, I just got off the phone with his son and he is overwhelmed with everything and trying to figure out what to do with a whole house and garage of stuff. To complicate things Mark lived in Florida and his son lives in New York. His son it into cars but not familiar with Buick stuff and may need help figuring out what some parts are if any one is in the spring hill/Tampa area your assistance may be needed.
Sorry for you and your family's loss. It's hard to lose a loved one, especially a person who was close and a mentor. As long as the stories and memories of Mark are shared, he'll live on through all those sharing.
Sorry for your loss. I'm not far from Spring Hill in the winter. Will also be there for about 10-12 days late Aug/early Sept. PM me if I can help. UticaGeoff
