Ayooo finally got some good runs in tonight!

I ran a couple low 13's just leaving the tranny in drive and messing with timing and tire pressure.

BUT!!!!:eek2: :eek2: My best pass of the night so far is 12.87@106 mph with a high 1.8 60 foot time. That was with 34 degrees timing and shifting at 6k.

Im posting this on my friends laptop he brought up here.I think I have 2 more runs for the night.I willl post the whole time slip for each run when I get home tonight and see if my old lady got some good videos!Ill keep you posted!

I dont think my engine has much more in her tho to be honest.BUT!!!!! We shall see!!! lol:3gears: :kodak:

The engine has more, just add some porting to the heads and low 12s are all yours!

Yea im really thinking of doing some head porting now I would crap if I hit low 12's.

Also I drove my car 50 miles to the track and back home and then drove around town and also to class today lol. These damn blocks are strong if you build em right.

I was having some traction problems last night.I was looking at some no hop bars what brand is a good one?I was looking at these ones http://www.summitracing.com/parts/LAK-21609/Maybe some new shocks also.

Im also thinking I need to do some lightening of my car next wednesday.Dont bash me for this now!But I did all of my pases last night with two alpine 15's the box and 3 amps in the trunk lol I like listening to my music loud I lost most of my hearing when i was in iraq :blast: :blast: :blast: :blast:So other than takiing out about the 300 pounds in the trunk where else should I do some weight reduction also I am running normal size tires up front.

Long post sorry!ILl be going back again on wednesday!Take care Russ

Leave the stereo in and add the nitrous....

If you are going to race it alot. Put a Holley on it. It a better race carb. I would also put a fuel pressure gauge on it to make sure its not running out on top end.

    Just some thoughts.

none the track got rained out last two weeks:mad: .

A holley is a better race carb ay?I reckon it might be for the big boys who make money racing and do tear downs often and trailer there babys to the track but not this beast!Lol

I am actually gonna get cliffs book here on the first do some q-jet mods if i can then see how she goes.

I do plan to purchase a new holley style carb in the future as I am yet unsure of the route I want to go do I want to nitrous with with my car or really save up and get marks single turbo kit down the road and just laugh at the silly mustangs here.

A fuel pressure guage is a daMn good Idea TBH:TU: I have one actually on my c/10 what is good pressure readings at idle and wot for our engines.Ill put it in tommmorrow let you guys know what the readings are!

UNTIL THEN!!!:beers2: :beers2: Take care Russ!

    chryco63 14's or bust!

    Russ,

If you remove the stereo next time, that could be as much as 3/10ths in the 1/4, if it is, indeed, 300 lbs. Lost weight, with all else being equal, often equals lower ET! :TU: But, you knew that already!

Your combo is pretty impressive as is, though! What RPMs are you turning at highway speeds? I'm also assuming you're running a TH350?

    Bump to the top!:TU:
