I have no choice at this point but to leave bad feedback regarding Ryans-GSX. The only thing I can be happy about is that I didn't give this guy any of my money. I posted in his parts for sale ad awhile ago being the first to respond to a 24hr clock and a 70-72 AM/FM radio. He responded back to me right away and told me I was first in line, and he would get me some pictures and let me know if the radio worked or not.
I waited 1 month exactly to hear back from him, when I got no response I pm'd him and asked politely what was taking so long. He said he was sorry and he would get me out pics in a day or two and that I was still first in line for these parts. Well another month passes by us, as I remember that is over two months now this deal has been lingering in the air. He has posted for sale ads since then, and started threads in EBay parts and cars, so Ryan we all know your on here so tell us what gives? It doesn't take two months to go out to your garage and take a few pictures. Ryan, I am not interested in any of the parts you might have been holding on too for me, or may have sold to someone else. You had your time to make things right and obviously you have shown your true colors. Thanks buddie... :TU:

Dang, this feedback forum is brutal :blast: . I refrain from selling things on this forum because I stay busy being a husband, father, lawn service, carpenter, housekeeper, chef, ...... whatever else the job requires to run my everyday life in my home. Me selling parts would be on the lowest of priorities, so its not in my, or a buyers best interest that I sell parts on here.

With that being said, I too inquired about Ryans parts for sale. I asked if he had a few other pieces. He replied yes, and described condition and prices. I asked for pictures, and that was where our transaction ended. No pictures, no purchase. I "assume" Ryan is busy and has biten off more than he can chew as far as trying to do "all the right things". So, I moved on, still searching, and wont publicly slam him.

Good luck with your search Andrew. :beer

I'm sure you guys get busy and maybe have a lot on your plates, but you did not have any kind of financial transaction with him so why flame? :Do No:

Ryan bought the yellow car in my avatar and everything transacted like we agreed. When he decided to sell it after restoring it (he cloned it and then found a real GS convt), he gave me first shot at it. I couldn't swing it at the time so I missed out on a great deal.

Bottom line, you're not out any parts or money so just look for the parts elsewhere.

not making excuses, but I know that Ryan was also involved in a car accident last month in which a young lady wasn't paying attention and turned in front of him and his car was totaled (not a Buick). He was okay physically, but was getting the run around financially from the insurance company. I am sure this was time consuming for him.

Not trying to cover for him but..........

I realize Ryan told you he would get you picture's but sometimes life gets in the way and you can't always do everything you want in the time frame you need to do it. (I'm guilty of that). There are times I get way to much on my plate and i'm sure it's happened to you every now and then.

Here's my motto: if you never expect anything you will never be dissapointed.

This is hilarious guys honestly, think about what you are saying. Your telling me not to flame, which obvioulsy I chose my feedback wisely  . Keep in mind I am not slamming anyone, I am only bringing the truth to light. So I am not understanding how some of you think I should not post anything at all???????? The guy is in fact a deadbeat seller, why not point him out to those that may do buisness with him in the future. Obvioulsy I am not the only one he has done this too, and like I did on the last problem just like this one I will be the one to step forward and point him out. I have no problem doing that to keep these people's bad transactions public.
Ok let me understand what your saying here: Your saying that even though I had intended to purchase a few items from a fellow board member and he completely fell out on me and others with no response for a few months, that I have no reason to publically voice my opinion on how he is selling his parts on here just because I did not send him money??? Keep in mind he is the seller here, and I was the intended buyer. As I remember we spoke about leaving feedback for those that don't follow the sticky within Parts for Sale. Also remember me and Chris stepped forward to aid in the revision of that sticky due to the same thing that is happening right now. Am I wrong????? Did this not follow along the guidlines of the sticky???

Jason, to answer your question I contacted RyansGSX at one point after a month went by on the thread itself, and he did respond to a pm to me that he would make things right and send me pictures so we could get the ball rolling. Well over another month went by and I never heard from him. So what am I to do?, Let another guy like Jciano come one here and do whatever he wants??? I think that would be a bad idea. Bottom line is no I am not out any money, but if you guys think I am not entitled to voice my opinion as an intended buyer, then I suggest you just go ahead and boot me now. Because if someone goes directly against the sticky and no one understands my side, then we have some problems. Ask anyone I have ever done buisness with on this site, I guarentee that you will not find one individual that has had a bad experience with me when it comes to buying and selling. Keep in mind I said guarentee. :TU:

Andrew - please help me understand a little better...

On 12-31-2005 - Here is the original post
    The next post, found Here
What gives? Ryan stated anything he has for sale here is no longer for sale, and then you thanked him.

Andrew, please help us understand a little better what happened on 12/31/2005, and why you feel compelled to post this thread?

You guys honestly need to read all of my post, and many of these questions are answered within it. You may have to read inbetween the lines a little, but I think I was pretty clear. That was over a month ago and I have heard nothing in any return from him, but yet he has posted more parts for sale and found time to make more money elsewhere. That is pretty clear to me he does not know how to follow the time manner issue within the sticky. Maybe we should all get together at the next major buick event and go over this sticky and have a multiple choice test on it.

    There was a seller

First I would like to say Ryan was great to deal with on our transaction :TU: Now that being said, Ryan was selling parts, Andrew was a potential buyer so yes Ryan is a seller so it does belong in the Buyer/Seller feed back, and by the way it says, and I'll quote "experiences from doing business in these classified section here" You know what guy's, the board has got so big and are parts are worth good money now and it's getting so expensive to restore are cars, it's drawing alot of people with no or little morals. Like the guy with NOS parts that posted them for sale on this board then chose not to respond to any of us, keeping us all in the dark. Finally a few of us started getting upset because this clown was screwing us over, certain people on this board were willing to turn a blind eye to this persons misconduct due to the fact this seller had more parts to sell. There is many reasons why people do these things, eg more money, back door deals, at what point will people on here stop screwing each other over for the sake of money and or parts. I think you guys should NOTE there is starting to be alot more people hanging out on the BPG website for a reason. Before you post your parts for sale make sure you are ready to sell them and get your price right the first time, If someone comes along after you made a deal already with a fellow board member have the decency to follow threw with your deal, and do it in a timely fashion. Andrew, Ryan told me I was first in line for a 24 hr. clock also. This is not to say he doesn't have more than one. He did send me pics night before last and communicated back and forth with PM's. Then when I told him to give me address and how he wanted the funds (check, MO, pay pal, whatever) I never got that info. I'd kinda like to know where he went to also.
BTW if he has just one clock I have no problem with you getting it. It sounds like you had talked to him before me.

it happens. some times i get so busy and i can not find the time to get things done fast. i sold josh an out put shaft for his th400 and it took me near 2 months to get it out! but i did keep him up to date with what was going on. Hell it took snap on 2 weeks to send me a 3/8 socket so i could pull the 3/8 bolt in the valve body!lol. If the guy doesnt have pics and you dont trust him, Dont Bitch about it. Move on and find some1 else to buy from. Keep an eye out on ebay. i see working clocks on there from time to time. If i find 1 on ebay i'll even email you and send you the link !

Anyone that is waiting for parts from me, just want to let you know that all boxes are being shipped friday Feb- 2-06!

    Doesnt this answer your question?

    Seller

In the case of the out put shaft, did you list it for sale then take 2 months to dig it out or were you trying to help someone that needed one. Big difference between thinking you might have a part that someone is looking for and posting a part for sale and not being ready to seal the deal. If you post it for sale you should be ready to ship. Remember for sale means your selling, not it might be for sale or ya its for sale but I kinda have other things to do so I'll just blow of my responsibilty as a seller or I'll just list it for this price and then I'll have a little auction through the pm's after someone has stepped up to the plate and said I'll take it and arranges shipping only to find out the guy backed out on you because someone else offered more money then the asking price. It is time for people to start stepping up to the plate and exposing these type of sellers here. Go to e-bay if you want to auction your stuff. I don't think asking for pic's, info etc is to much to ask. Whats trust have to do with it, if you don't try to cover your but you have no one to blame but your self. Again, Ryan was great to deal with on my deal alittle bit slow but he was selling a bunch of parts at the same time so I knew he was busy but he also kept in contact with me, that makes a big difference.....Chris
