I hid my amp next to my rear speakers. Before that it was on the trunk wall. Which I might reconfigure back to after I add more speakers. I’ve reconfigured my sound system 3 times trying to find a balance of maximum performance and oem look.

Currently have 2 4x4 in the dash and 2 6x9 in the rear. 1 10” sub. 2 amps in the trunk(one of them built into the sub). I bought an extra radio bezel and swapped out original and then cutout a single din slot using abs and a Dremel, to run a Kenwood deck and also a in dash graphic equalizer. I can always go back to stock if needed.

Next upgrade I want to test out will be a 8 speakers with two subs. Will be moving the 4x4 to the rear deck next to the 6x9s. Then adding component 6.5 in aftermarket kick panels and tweeters in dash. Add annother 10” sub. All hooked up to a DSP. Going to most likely upgrade my 100amp alt to a 150, and my amp 4awg power wire to a 2 and all engine power wire/ground/charging wires up a size as well.
