Hello everyone. Ever since I bought the car 67 GS, the RPM gauge has never worked. It does light up, but that's about it. Where do I start looking to see what could be wrong? Thanks

Make sure it is connected to the negative side of the coil first. If you have an MSD box, there is a tachometer output. If the connections are right, then the tachometer is at fault.

Like Larry said and also if this is all msd ignition you may need their tach adapter. I know I did

Hi all. I do have an HEI distributor coil setup, not sure of brand though. I checked and I have a brown cable connected to tachometer plug on dtributor. I will look into tach adapter and see if that's the issue. Also will make sure cable is properly connected to back of tach. Thanks for feedback
