Well here we go again. Another hurricaine and this 1 is hitting us directly. I am so over this hurricaine season. We lost power for 3 days during Francis and I know I will lose power again soon. My wifes mothers house was badly damage during Charley becuase she lives in Port Charlotte, right where it came ashore.Winds are at about 40 mph right now and getting worse as I write. I wish everyone in Fl good luck. I hope to see you all at the BOP in Old Town next month. Hopefully with my newly finished Stage 1 clone.
    God Bless

Some of us have been run over by the cyclones too and it makes us much more appreciative of their power even way inland.

What is the date for the BOP at old town? I presume you mean Orlando.

My uncle lives in Port St. Lucie and this is his second direct hit. Charley had little effect for him but drop a tree across my cousins house. But Frances and Jeane hit him directly. Frances did enough damage and Jeane can only be worse.

Most of our electric department went and worked in Ft. Pierce for two weeks. They worked 16 hour days and with a lot of help from as far away as Michigan most of the power was restored. BUT! now most of there work is being destroyed again.

May God watch over and protect everyone!

    Glad you made it!

Greenville Utilities left out Tuesday to go to Ft. Pierce to help rebuild again.
We had to work hard to get the trucks ready in a day and a half. They showed on TV where some of the new poles that had just been put up were pushed out of the ground and laid over. So much for eveyones hard work.

My Uncle made it through and just had more of the same damage from the last storm. He was glad that he had not begun rebuilding yet.
    Take Care!
