Hello All, I am new to this board, and just wanted to say hi. I have experience in working on Turbo Regals, and that has been my area of focus for the past 10 years. I have a new project to tackle that I could use some advice on. I have yet to talk my father into a turbo 6, he just won't let go of the V8's. There is an 86 Regal with a 231 2 barrel in the family. I came back from the GS Nats this year where there was a decent turn out of V8's in the 86-87 cars. So basically I want to know where to go for info on putting a big V8 in 86-87 Regal? Anyone who has done it would be a great step. Obviously we need to get the motor and build it, or engine look into established engine builders ( TA? ). The car had a 350 trans already put in it a while back. I want to see if we can reuse this. As far as goals I think a 12.50 car would be fine for the old farts needs. Thanks again!
