If anyone here has plans on using Paul Rodland (RCG) in Warriors Mark PA I strongly advise against it!!
I sent him a 455 to do a 470 build. cr was to be 10.5, he made it 8.9
the side clearance on the rods range from 3 to 14 and all the bearings are way to tight! He is aware of these issues and does not return any of my calls  Now I have to have another shop do the rework, it will cost me a couple grand to make it right.

I feel your pain. The last 2 out of three I had done were not usable. One by a Buick vendor. Had to have that one ground to the next size under :dollar: by some one who knew what they were doing. The other I felt like throwing it threw the guys front window. Instead I deburred it for 5 or 6 hrs. where it was hacked up on the sides of the sharp 90* fillets. Plus one rod journal was .0005" out of round. :Dou:
A good crank grinder won't grind one without the rods/block and bearings to be used. When you find a good one don't use anyone else, even if it costs extra.
