Yep that would be Scotty's old car. We picked it up in January. This car seems to draw a crowd no matter who drives it. Pssst Carl.... it's Rod .. but he has answered to worse :laugh: Thanks for the congrats! Rod has worked really hard to get this motor to do what it is doing. It's nice to have it pay off the first time out.
Wayne, You know Doug is a little strapped for cash. After all, he's lost 2 engines, and the racing season isn't even half way over. I think he was going for my wallet, when Alan snapped that picture. Actually he should have gone for Alan's wallet, Alan was carrying large, as he intended to buy that 69 Stage1 that turned out to be a hunk of junk.
The guy made the car out to be something it wasn't. He had a substance abuse problem. He wanted to pay Alan to walk away from the deal o No: Confused?? ou: So was I. I think I'll let Alan fill in the rest, I wasn't there.
Jeez, after the number of re-shoots Ron made me do for the a$$ grab pic, I'd have thought it would've shown up on the board sooner. I actually had my hand an eighth of an inch off of Larry's butt, but Ron kept asking me to do it again (technical difficulties, I guess.) and I finally accidently brushed him and the jig was up, he turned to look at me, looked at Ron, and went back to his business. ou:

I don't have any pics of the motor on me right now. I'll get some this weekend. Scotty is out of Buicks now. He now is racing Chevys. Doug might know a little more in what he runs,, but from what I understand he now runs in an Outlaw class. It's a 10.5w class, they can run anything as long as it has stock front control arms. It big money to win. Rod talked to Scotty on the way home from BG and the last race he was in he went to the finals,,, and redlite ou: I'm sure he still got a nice chunk of change. I think in July he is going to be in MI for a race and we are planning on going to watch him,, it should be fun.
