    Poppaluv I CALL WINNERS!!!

From everything I've read here. The Nailhead needs no modifications for oil. THAT was one of it's best designs....:TU:

    Hello,
If you don't mind me asking, what did that set up cost? I'm just about to tare into my 425. Having oiling issues on the passenger side. Not much oil there.

    Thanks

Dutch Wildcat, first very nice looking rockers. What vendor are the springs/valves and pushrods?

This may have been answered in the post but what was the cause of the no oiling to the rockers? Are you going to prime the motor before you start to make sure the rockers are oiling? I have found that this is a must with motor work. It has saved me on more than one motor using a primer on a drill and have a oil gauge to see the pressue and with the rocker covers off you will see the rockers oil. Good luck Bill.

The problem with the oiling was, that the mechanic who assembled the engine putted blue silicone rtv to the headbolts and blocked off the oilpassages going to the heads!!!!!!!

I have called tom telesco a few times and emailed a lot with him,and we disseded that tom did order for me the valves, valvesprings, pushrods and gaskets along with his ROLLERROCKERS:beer .

So i had to pay for one shipment with everything that i needed(THANKS TOM for helping me with all of the things i needed).

And yes i did prime the engine with the valvecovers off and looked if there was enough oil going to the heads.

She starts directly and idles smoother than ever before, notice i drive on L.P.G. with the nailhead now for 7 years.

Only thing i need to do is take her for a good spin!!!!!!!

The only thing i changed in the engine are the rollerrockers and a .030 overbore the rest is everything standard.

So thanks to tom telesco for all his knowledge and help,i'm on the road again:TU: :TU:

I'll keep you updated after i drive here on the road again
