checked in on my head guy today and we were discussing final direction to take . my understanding is that the rocker stand area needs to be clearanced for roller rockers . how much ? how little ? pics ? any info appreciated . thanks . del

The clearance needs to be made on the the left and right sides of the pedastals. Theres plenty of iron there, so no need to worry 'bout making them weaker. Plus not a whole lot has to come off. Grind, clean, then test fit. Its easy, just a bit messy and time consuming, but well worth having the adjustability of roller rockers:grin: If I had my digital camera I could post a picture of my spare '71 heads. Mark

they are at my head guy now . i didn't see any sense in getting them all together then doing that . he said the bridgeport would be alot better than me doing it with a hand grinder and fumbling around with it . i agreed . wanted to get an idea on exact info first here . upper area of stand needs to be ground ( 1/8 inch each side ? less ? ) . what about the two areas lower that stick out on each side of the stand ? do not have rollers . sent them back ( see "feedback" ) . thanks for any details . del
