I want to disassemble the door hinges of our riviera. Now my Fisher Body Manual tells me there is just a snap ring on the end of the hinge rod, but I cant identify a snap ring there. It looks more like?? I dont know how to explain... can anyone help me disassembling them? How do I get the rods out? Juergen
Ok, I got that now, but there came up another problem. The Riviera emblems on the fenders. I cant reach all nut so how do I get them off? Im now thinking of getting the innter fenders out. Is that the way to do it? Juergen
Jrgen, I did it sticking my arm all the way down, lost a lot of skin doing that, but it works. Even lost a spanner there, still lives inside the wing somewhere. :laugh: Ask a girl to do the job for you, most of the time they have arms less thick.
So that makes 3 spanners, or 3 wrenches all together........depends on which side of the ocean you are.
Oh, I thought you mean the "nuts" with spanner So two nuts on the drivers side and 1 wrench on the passenger side. :shock:
