Yes, that looks like the correct Skylark grill for 1971.

Thanks. Just double checking because it was plastic, and I wasn't expecting any plastic on a 71' car.

The only '70-'72 metal grill I believe was the 1972 Skylark Custom grill - used to have that grill on my Skylark before I switched it out for the plastic GS grill.

If you copy the "image code" off of photobucket, your picture appears without a link. Nice project you have there.

Thanks. Thought a good first resto, something easy with not to much work.

I see you were thinking differently lol

This reminds me, did some Skylarks only come with 1 side mirror?

Np lol. It is a project but nothing major, lot of little stuff. The paint is faded, but only on 1/3 of the trunk so idk what I'm gonna do about that yet (suggestion?). And i meant you were thinking differently with your projects, not mine hahah

Yea mine are pretty big, especially the stage1. I think we might sell it. Luckily my dad is an amazing mechanic, He has been in the business since he was 16 and took over my grandpas shop in '88. Between him and this board it makes my project a whole lot easier.

I'm not sure, use the search function on the board, I'm sure someone has asked the question before.
