Okay, so has anyone used the Painless Wiring 10201 harness? I have a 71 Riviera that I want to rewire COMPLETELY. I want to re-do everything. I was thinking that this 10201 might just do the trick. Think it will accomplish my task? It's fairly expensive, but I want to do it right the first time. And I plan to install a nice sound system. Thanks, guys!

Why not get M&H in Cal to make or sell you the exact OEM harness. Cannot get much easy than that.

Well, they don't seem to make an entire harness for the 71 Riviera. I'll contact them and see what they can do. Thanks for the advice, Jim! I appreciate the help.

I would try Buick Farm to see if they have any NOS ones.

Or Yesterdays - they can reproduce one.

They have the original factory drawing specs for most everything. They make YO's stuff.

I think making a wiring harness for that car would be very difficult at best, and very un-reliable. You would better off doing a patch job with heat shrinkable tubing and a soldering iron. There is too many complex circuits in your car to try a huge undertaking like that without the risk of serious consequences.

I've repaired the wiring in mine many times with parts of wiring harnesses I keep for spare parts. Nothing fits better than original wires and connectors. Anything else is just asking for trouble.

    Just my 2 cents here.:Brow:
