I was wondering if the spindels on a the buick 61-63 special had a matching
part number with other GM cars like nova 2 or corvair. the reason for this
is to find new aftermarket spindels for discbrakes.

Hollanders lists interchange with '61-63 Olds F-85 only.

Scarebird .com makes disc backing plates for mounting calipers.

    62 Buick Spec Spindles

In response to your original question on changing spindles. I've done some checking and the late model Corvair Hubs will bolt onto 62 Special spindles. Same bearings and dims. This is a way also to convert to GM 5 lug 4 3/4" bolt pattern. If you were to go to Scarebird plate for disc conversion you would need to specify Buick spindle bolt pattern. I am converting to late model Corvair rear brakes for front axle. They are 2 1/2'" wide as opposed to Buicks 2" a 25% increase in swept area. Requires some mods but cheaper than discs, should be adequate for normal driving.
