I have finally collected everything I need to put my dual fours on my 65 riv. Even purchased the stainless nailhead bolt kit. What I do not have is two cool nuts to hold down the O'brien Truckers air cleaner I will be using. The rods for the two carters are 1/4". I would really like two acorn nuts like the one used on the factory 2x4 air cleaner. Do they make repros? If so, where can I get them? I'm also open tp any other suggestions on what would look cool! I bought the O'brien Truckers air cleaner from Larry Daisey of Rancho Riviera for right around $200. A little high,...but it looks great. Also I dig the tri-shield nuts,..but I think I might give this guy a call....Thanks Rick!
Acorn nuts If your acorn nuts are 1/4-20 you can get them from a motorcycle shop.....I am sure they also have them in 1/4-28 also and they have a real strong chrome covering on them, Bikers love them!...I know cause I was once one of them..... Don
