I just wanted to announce the that I have correct reproduction grille studs available for the 70 GS grilles and 69 GS grilles.
If you plan on purchasing the 1970 GS grille from the GSCA you will need a set of these studs.
The 70 set will include 4 ea short studs and 2 ea longer studs, with the correct nuts to install. Price will be $39.00 set plus postage.
The 69 set includes 2 ea of the short studs with the correct nuts to install price is $11.00 set plus postage.
I am still working out a flat rate for postage. I plan on accepting paypal and money orders.
The nuts shown in the picture will be black phosphate as original.

Will these studs work on a 70 Skylark?

I don't think they will work on the skylark grille. I think the skylark uses different size studs.

I used the short ones from my Skylark grill on my GS grill OK, on the corners. The 2 long ones in the middle didn't work though. HTH

I only have a few sets left. After this there will be no more. I do have plenty of the short studs if anyone needs any.

71 Studs are different. Scott Miller already made a run of 71 studs. I don't know if there are any left. I would need orders for 50 kits to make the 71 studs. This is probably not in the cards since the 71 GS grilles are being reproduced complete.

I am pretty sure Scott posted way back there were no more 71s.

My new 71 grille i just got from the GS club did not come with studs! I am sure someone could make some money here! I am sure plenty of people still need them.
