Replacing my ignition coil

    I'm getting ready to replace my ignition. I have never done it before, but I youtube it and it seems simple. Are there any tips anybody can share?

    If all you are replacing is the coil, then it is very simple. Disconnect the battery, then take a picture of how the original unit is installed, so you can reference the pic later when installing the new one. Putting on the wires in the same location as the old coil is key.

    I'm replacing the plugs too.

    When I did my plugs I did them one at a time and hooked the wires back to them, probally a little more time consuming but it made sure I didn't mess anything up.

    then, I did the same thing when replacing the wires.

    Finally, I broke out the wireing chart and traced the wires to the correct spots, a little over kill perhaps but I got everything right the first time! :TU:
