Okay Guys and Gals...I need to know if anyone has done a change over from a 4 BBL Carter Carb to and Edlebrock? I am putting on a Edelbrock model # 1407 4bbl on my 66 motor and I know hear that I need to get a special bracket to hook up the kickdown switcho No: . has anyone done this before? I need someone with some Smarts:Smarty: to helps me and also where would I pick one up...Edlebrock won't sell one to me and All the dealers around me tell me that they don't know what I am talking about? HELP!!!!!!!!!! Please Don
Don, This change over is simple , dont let it intimidate You, I have the stuff You need as I am scrapping Out 4 - 66 rivs. The sw brackets should be common. Doc
I have done it too. I just modified my original bracket. There are a few minor issues with the lines, but simple for most. Sure made a difference over the worn Carter.
