Is anyone aware of a vendor that offers chrome billet-type valve covers for the 322 V8?

    Thanks

I think finned aluminum is it. I don't think you can get better looking cover than the stock covers chromed though.

Try Lane Custom Products to get some custom valve covers made. They will make just about anything for you....excellent products!!:TU:

A friend of mine has a 425 nailhead - he asked the guy if they carried anything for the nailheads. As of last year they didn't, but he told us to send a valve cover and let him know how tall we wanted them, what design, etc.

Not cheap at $340, but quality usually isn't. :Brow:

Here's a picture of some of their nostalgic stuff.

    Hi Judd and Scott,

thanks for the great feedback on the valve covers! The pics are awesome. After doing some research, I found a couple companies that provide new aftermarket alu polished covers in the $250-$300 range.
The quote I received for re-chroming the original covers is in the same range. Since I am a bit sentimental and do like to "old stuff", I think I will have the original covers re-chromed. It's just part of the flair.

    Thanks for your help!
