I would like to know what glue is best when repairing these plastic grills and if the glue can be painted over?
    Thanks,

Ask Dave Tumas. He's the grille repair guru. He did mine and it looks better than NOS.

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

I have been using ABS/PVC/CPVC cement from Home Depot. I believe the grills are PVC. Once the glue cures, which is quick, you can sand, fill and paint.

I use PVC cement, Then use versa weld, and finish with a polyester filler. :TU:

    Thanks George,
I was hoping for a quick reply before I go to bed, working the midnight shift sucks but at least I can work on my car parts!
    Thanks again,

    3shields Let's go, MOUNTAINEERS!!!

    Glue

I have had very good success with a product from 3M. Basically any good auto supplier would carry 3m. They will ask you if the plastic is pliable, or stiff. Then they can give you the correct adhesive.
