Has anyone ever converted their engine setup from Stage 3/4 heads that use the extra mounting studs back to OEM cast iron? If so, how did you seal up the extra holes in the deck? Also, can it be done in a stealth fashion so you couldn't tell it was done?

    Thanks,

I simply installed some 3/8 set screws into the extra holes, put them in just below flush, sealed them up with teflon sealer and left it like that. You can't see them with a head on the block because the stock head and gasket covers the holes anyway.

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks! Now I just have to decide if I should shelve the Stage 3's for the stock heads. I love the performance but not the attention they get.
