I was wondering if anyone could let me know the proper proceedure on how to remove my convertible top? I will be removing the top frame with the top attached to use on the new car since it's in good condition. I just want to make sure I don't damage anything. I already removed the cylindars and the 3 bolts on each side that holds the frame to the car. I'm not sure what to remove next that will allow me to just lift the top out of the car. If anyone can give me this information it would be most appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Dave

I think people might hesitate to reply because its a pretty big job to pull the entire top. Do you have a body service manual??

Fire me an e-mail at ritc1@shaw.ca and I'll send you the scan of the manual procedure. It will get you going in the right direction anyway.
