I just bought a Bulldog remote starter . After getting it home and checking out there web site there are alot of mixed reviews. Anyone have any advice about these.
I've put around 5 remote starters in. They were not Bulldogs though. They can be a bit of a pain in the a$$ to put in with laying on your back under the dash. With that being said, it is nice to go outside on a cold winter morning with the windows de-iced and the car toastie warm inside.
I put one on a 2000 s10. It took me most of a day to do. If you have a security system you will have to buy another box in addition to the basic remote start to bypass the security system. Otherwise the car will start and run for a second and then shut off. Also run the antena wire up above the base of the winshield to get any range out of the remote. Hope this helps. Van
I have a 96 plan no option S10. was looking and if i get a T harness it sounds like it would make it alot easier. The harness is another $30 plus shipping. But then all you have to do is unplug the ignition harness and plug this one in between it. I think im going to give it a try.
