remote solenoid...dumb question

    Thanks on the battery in trunk dilemma... got that one taken care of...

    Next dumb question:
    On a remote solenoid install, (with electronic ignition) the only thing that should be left hooked up to the GM solenoid is:
    -The battery wire from the Ford solenoid (B connection) to the GM solenoid
    -The jumper from the GM battery connection to the nearby "S" connection.

    The (2) 10 Ga wires that power the fuse box and go directly to the lights go the the hot side of the Ford solenoid... no?

    Being Mr. "smarty-electric" I hooked it all up and had no electricity nowhere.

    ...but I left those two 10 Ga ring connectors on the GM solenoid.

    hey....that wasnt in the directions dammit!!!
